Doc today... Currently working as a Professional Audio Consultant in Los Angeles, CA. Doc provides specialized computer systems and support for his customer base in the music industry and he has branched out to include clients in the television, film and post production community. He deals on a regular basis with companies like ABC, Twentieth Century Fox and Disney.

His client base reads like the who's who of the music business. Recording artists Stevie Wonder, Michael and Janet Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Will Smith II, AC/DC, Paula Abdul etc... Film Composers Jerry Goldsmith (The Mummy, Total Recall, Congo), James Newton Howard (Outbreak), David Newman (The Flintstones), Hans Zimmer (Lion King), Dennis McCarthy (Star Trek, Deep Space Nine)... Record Producers Giorgio Moroder (Elton John), Mark Mothersbaugh (Devo), Robert De La Garza (Rebba McIntyre, The Carpenters)... Recording Engineers Brian Reeves (U2, Simple Minds), Carmen Rizzo (Eddie Murphy, Ray Charles), Bobby Summerfield (Steve Miller Band, Foreigner) and scores of other professionals have utilized Doc's expertise.

Aside from his acumen in sales and as an audio consultant, he is well versed in all aspects of music, (from classical to jazz), song writing and record production, computers, computer software and digital recording. In conjunction with his Doctor Audio website, he heads an Internet company called Wizard Network Communications, which is designed to market computers, computer audio equipment, computer software, books and CDs, and is also involved with web hosting and web design.

A couple of years back... With Record Producer Russ Bishop, he was owner of company Digital Monsters located in the Post Complex, Studio City CA. Besides work on record projects, Digital Monsters used state of the art computer recording systems to do voice-overs and sound effects for radio and television commercials. The famous Lexus commercial featuring classical guitarist Manual Barrueco was edited and compiled at Digital Monsters.

And before that... Product specialist /sales for Goodman Music, North Hollywood CA. Always the top salesman by a substantial margin, in 1990 Doc broke all Goodman records with sales of 1.2 million dollars and maintained a profit margin of nearly twenty thousand dollars a month on average (A personal best higher than the total of many individual Goodman outlets). After a brief hiatus in 1991 to study orchestration and film scoring with Dr. Albert Harris, Doc returned to Goodman Music and in Feb. of 1992 set an almost unheard of record, selling $350,000.00 in just 28 days (with over thirty thousand dollars in Gross Profit). His Gross sales that year were 2.1 million.

And yet before that... Manager of production facility Realtime Studios located at Salty Dog Studios, Van Nuys CA. Taught courses in music software, Fairlight programming and record production for The Recording Institute Van Nuys, CA.

Way back when... Manager of Fairlight music production company Future Soundz. Credits include George Clinton, Sly Stone, Bobby Womack. Producer of album for Techno-dance band X-Checker (Progressive Records) and writer /producer of album Animal Attraction featured in the Julian Temple movie Earth Girls Are Easy starring Geena Davis, Jim Carrey and Jeff Goldblum. Many years as a freelance studio musician. Live engagements with Little Anthony, The Drifters,The Diamonds etc. Writer of song Russian Reggae for Nina Hagen (CBS Records). Television... The Barbara Mandrell Show and the Oral Roberts Gospel Hour. Songwriter... Hot Damn for Jerry Lee Lewis featured in movie Roadie starring Roy Orbison, Alice Cooper and Blondie... 3 albums for Ian Whitcomb (Capitol) 2 albums for Black Russian (Motown) 1 album for Blue Mitchell (ABC). Scores of commercials and record dates. Two years as leader of The Blind Pig Jazz Band (written up in Downbeat) and featuring many of the top jazz musicians from the L.A. music scene.

As a young man... Freelance guitarist in L.A. and Music Instructor at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa CA.

As a younger man... Studied at Dick Grove School of Music. Classes included improvisation, arranging, composition and orchestration.

As a child... Honor Student on Classical guitar. Awarded a scholarship by the Royal Conservatory of Toronto, Canada.
